The hotel location was great. it had character and seemed well preserved. the staff were nice and helpful throughout my stay. i particularly enjoyed the pool and leisure facilities. They were a real highlight. the bar staff were fine. friendly and provided good service. the comfortable room.

i found the mattress to be past its prime. this impacted my sleep quality. it could use an update.

the night reception offered a lovely room. reception staff the following morning were also friendly and very helpful. everybody working at the hotel was super nice and accommodating, they were great. the staff were amazing

the hotel includes a spa area. the spa has steam and sauna rooms and a pool. leisure facilities are on offer, and grounds are fine and well kept. there is also a gym and swimming pool, i loved the pool and leisure facilities.

the room was spacious and very comfortable, with complimentary tea and biscuits. the bathroom was excellent and included a bath. a decent size tv was in the room, i enjoyed the extra space. the room was lovely and offered great comfort.

poor soundproofinginadequate accessibility

i was a bit disappointed with a couple of things the promised accessibility features were lacking i use a wheelchair and found several areas difficult to navigate some doorways were too narrow and ramps were steep also the soundproofing wasn't great i could hear noise from other rooms and the hallway , made it hard to relax and sleep soundly i mentioned these issues but didn't feel they were adequately addressed perhaps some improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the experience
